Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and the Zoo Page Marketing browser extension. This policy is designed to meet transparency expectations for the Chrome Web Store and applicable privacy laws.
Last updated: June 29, 2026
Summary. We provide a browser extension and related web services to help you manage and automate permitted Facebook Fanpage marketing workflows (for example multi-channel posting, content scheduling, audience organization, and advertising productivity tools). We collect only what we need to run the product, we do not sell your personal information, and we describe extension permissions and data flows below. The Extension does not ask for or store your Facebook password — it operates on Facebook tabs where you are already signed in. If anything is unclear, contact us at [email protected].
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Zoo Page Marketing (“Zoo Page”, “we”, “us”) and describes our practices when you use:
- Our marketing website at https://zoopage.vn (the “Site”);
- Our web application at https://app.zoopage.vn (the “App”); and
- The Zoo Page Marketing browser extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store (the “Extension”), together with any online features that connect to your account.
Zoo Page is a product of Zoosoft. Together, the Site, App, and Extension are the “Services.”
2. Single purpose & compatibility with Chrome Web Store policies
The Extension is intended for one clear purpose: to provide tools that help users manage and automate permitted marketing workflows related to Facebook Fanpages, consistent with the product description in the Chrome Web Store listing. Examples include:
- Scheduling and publishing posts to Fanpages and connected channels you authorize;
- Managing content libraries, drafts, and posting templates you create;
- Organizing Fanpage lists and workflow settings you configure;
- Audience and engagement utilities you explicitly initiate (for example exporting lists you already have lawful access to);
- Advertising productivity features (for example Ad Library research and campaign management helpers) that you choose to enable.
We do not design the Extension to collect data for unrelated purposes (such as unrelated advertising networks or undisclosed tracking). Features run only when you open and use them; we do not perform undisclosed background data collection unrelated to the stated product purpose. If we add material new data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, the Chrome Web Store listing and in-product notices.
3. Information we collect
Depending on your use of the Services, we may process the categories below. Not all users will provide every category.
| Category | Examples | Purpose (summary) |
|---|---|---|
| Account & authentication | Email address, name, account identifiers, login session tokens, and similar credentials you provide when creating or accessing an account (for example via Google sign-in). | To create and secure your account, authenticate API requests, and provide the Services. |
| Product usage & diagnostics | App/extension version, coarse error logs, performance metrics, and limited technical data about how features are used (often in aggregated form). | To operate, improve, and secure the Services; to troubleshoot crashes and abuse. |
| Content you submit | Posts, templates, media references, Fanpage lists, schedules, audience file metadata, and other inputs you configure inside the Extension or App to enable features you request. | To perform the functionality you initiate (for example posting or scheduling according to your settings). |
| Local extension storage | Preferences, drafts, and session helpers stored in Chrome extension storage on your device. | To keep the Extension reliable across sessions without re-entering settings each time. |
| Communications | Messages you send to support (email or in-product), and metadata needed to respond. | Customer support, security notices, and service-related communication. |
What we do not collect. We do not ask for, store, or transmit your Facebook/Meta account password. We do not design the Services to systematically harvest special categories of sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric identifiers, or similarly regulated categories). You should only process personal data you have a lawful basis and platform permission to use.
Third-party platforms. When you use the Extension to interact with Facebook, Pancake, Buffer, TikTok, or other third-party websites, those platforms may process your activity under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control Meta/Facebook’s or other platforms’ data processing. You are responsible for complying with platform rules and applicable laws when using posting, audience, or automation features.
4. Chrome extension permissions (why we need them)
Chrome extensions may request permissions to perform their stated functions. Our permissions are requested only to deliver the Extension’s described features. Depending on the released version, the Extension may request permissions such as:
- Storage — to save your preferences, drafts, and local settings so the Extension works reliably across sessions.
- Host permissions / access to websites — to provide in-page functionality on Facebook and related domains you use with the product (for example, to display the Zoo Page overlay and perform actions you explicitly initiate). We do not use host permissions to run unrelated scripts on unrelated sites.
- Alarms or background tasks (if used) — to support scheduled posting or reminders you configure, consistent with your settings.
- Network requests — to communicate with https://app.zoopage.vn for authentication, syncing permitted data, license checks, and delivering updates.
- Tabs / scripting (if used) — to inject the Extension UI and run user-initiated workflows on pages you are actively using with the product.
If a permission is not strictly necessary for a feature, we aim to avoid requesting it. The exact permission list shown in Chrome at installation time is part of your disclosure; keep your Chrome Web Store listing aligned with this Policy.
5. How we use information
We use information as necessary to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including features you enable in the Extension);
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Generate aggregate or de-identified analytics about product performance (where we do not identify you).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for “user profiling” unrelated to providing the Services.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of: (1) performance of a contract with you; (2) legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (for example securing the Services and improving reliability); (3) consent where required; and (4) legal obligations.
7. Sharing and subprocessors
We may share information with:
- Service providers (hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring) who process data on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations;
- Integrated platforms (for example Facebook Graph API, Buffer, or Pancake) only when you connect those services and initiate a feature that requires it;
- Authorities if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transfers in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice as required by law.
We do not sell personal information.
8. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example security logs). You may request deletion of your account data where applicable, subject to legal exceptions (for example records we must retain for legal compliance).
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted connections between the Extension/App and our servers. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we strive to follow industry practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
If we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps consistent with applicable law (for example appropriate safeguards or contractual clauses), where required.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before responding.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Cookies & similar technologies (Site)
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for session management, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The Extension’s own storage is separate from website cookies and is used to operate the Extension features.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate (for example a prominent notice on the Site or in the Extension). Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
